I am an (A)rtist/(R)esearcher/(T)eacher residing in West Texas. Having taught the past 2 years in public school, I am currently taking a sabbatical from teaching to cuddle with my newborn, paint, and work on my Masters of Art Education (MAE). My photography and paintings have been exhibited along the Lubbock First Friday Art Trail and a select few are currently exhibited at Gatsby’s Coffeehouse in Lubbock, Texas. I’ve presented my photographic research from Kenya in the 2012 National Conference for Undergraduate Research (NCUR) in Ogden, Utah. I’ve also presented my qualitative mural research at the 2013 National Art Educators Association (NAEA) in Ft. Worth, Texas.
